Beech Grove is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention; and a member of the Nelson County Baptist Association.  We are basically a Bapti-Costal fellowship in practice.

What does that mean?

1. It means that we experience lively worship when we gather together.  We like to clap our hands; we use guitars, keyboards, drums, tambourines, etc. in our worship time; we lift our hands in adoration and praise; and our preaching/teaching of the Word is expressed in a dynamic fashion that while it is not overboard, it is not boring.
2. It means that we believe the Bible in all of it's extents:
a. We believe in spiritual gifts.
b. We believe in the order God laid out in I Cor. 12/14.
c. We do not believe in cessationism; neither do we participate in the anything goes movement.  God is decent and in order.  I Cor. 14:40 Our desire is to be followers of Jesus Christ, not denominationalists.  We believe in a concept called: B.A.S.I.C.  This stands for Brothers And Sisters In Christ.  If you are one of us, then you are welcome here!
